Lynn Bryan Young
Position:
Owner/President

I come to this business by way of  blood line and have a passion to build upon that heritage. My great uncle C. E. Bryan, began this business in 1953 after a stint in Walter Reed Medical Hospital. Due to military disability, he was provided the opportunity to be trained as a watchmaker. This was a passion that he passed along to my father, Raymond Bryan. My father then chose to attend Bradley University in Peoria, IL.  and graduated the Horology School. As a watchmaker he came to work at Bryan Jewelry, for a brief time and then years later returned to take on the business at the retirement of C.E. Bryan. It was 1978 and my family, mother, father and self  began to work at Bryan Jewelry. We transitioned and took over in 1979.  My parents, Raymond  and Shirley were totally devoted to growing this business and providing excellent service. Jewelry and watch repair were instore services that expanded to engraving,  custom design, fabrication  and casting. As part of the new family running Bryan Jewelry I literally started on the ground floor. Yes, the broom, mop and vacuum fit my hand. Fortunately, I was able to expand those skills to merchandising, sales, jewelry repair, engraving, casting, design and diamond and gemstone appraisals. I attended Holland School for Jewelers and earned the "Master Jeweler" title, graduated from Auburn University in Montgomery with a BS in Management and followed up with multiple GIA courses and studies, such as Diamond Grading (D.G), Colored Stones and Gem Identification. I am a GIA G.G.! Education is an on going topic as this industry is ever changing. With the untimely passing of my father, I am now the third generation Bryan to run this business. It is my passion to be of service to you and your jewelry needs. How can I help you?
